Info:

Info: This is a very rare Rolex Day-Date with the wonderful addition of the Khanjar National emblem of the Sultanate of Oman. KHANJAR Commemorative Rolex watches from Oman come in quite a few different references from the Day/Date to the Daytona. Most of them were presented as gifts to foreign dignitaries and guests of State marking important events and achievements. The National emblem is centred by the instantly identifiable sharply angled Khanjar ceremonial dagger within its sheath flanked by two crossed swords and the three are conjoined by an embellished belt with buckles. Under Omani law only items given special dispensation are allowed to bear the Khanjar crest. WATCH DETAILS CASE The case is unpolished and in beautiful condition with original thick lugs, the gold is starting to tarnish between the lugs and judging from the lack of marking this watch has never been worn with a gold bracelet. The 18K and other gold marks are crisp very clearly visible indicating that the watch has not been polished. DIAL The dial is virtually flawless - a definite 9 out of 10 (there is no 10/10 for a vintage piece) the Khanjar is finely printed and there is not doubt as to its originality. the hands are original and the lume is also all original MOVEMENT The movement is in excellent working condition and has the correct caliber 3055
